(v6.15) Unable to create image recognition file for dataset- 'local variable 'merged_images' referenced before assignment'

Hello all,

I have been using AddaxAI in TimeLapse and creating an image recognition file for my video sets has gone perfectly so far, except for one dataset in particular. I get this consistent error message when I try to create a recognition file for it. I can’t tell why this set would fail while identically formatted sets work fine. Do you know if there is an issue with the file path?

I must say that I need to have AddaxAI handle this error more gracefully, as this does not look very user friendly.

But it means one of your videos is corrupted. It can’t find any frames in the file D:/Timelapse2-Executables/CameraTrapVideos22-23/GPOP 02_KT 21/2024-09-26/09270036.MP4. Can you check and open this file in your video player?

You can either fix this file using video repair software (just Google “video repair software” and see what works best for your situation), or move the video out of the folder before rerunning AddaxAI.
